Teaser Trailer

quote:

IO and publisher Warner Bros. first announced plans for the project back in October 2019.

"IO Interactive has a proud history of creating compelling characters and universes for our players to enjoy - it's in our DNA," studio boss Hakan Abrak said at the time. "As we embark on this exciting project to create a new universe for IO Interactive together with Warner Bros., we're currently looking for ambitious talent to join our team in our Copenhagen and Malmo studios for this extraordinary journey."

The developer is also currently working on Hitman 3, which is due in January 2021 as a cross-gen title for PC, Switch, PlayStation and Xbox. New locations for your bald assassin antihero will include Dubai and Dartmoor. There's also PSVR support, though you'll need the PS4 version of the game even when playing on PS5.

Tweet from the OFFICIAL James Bond twitter account:

quote:

Project 007 (working title) is a brand new James Bond video game with a wholly original story. Earn your 00 status in the very first James Bond origin story, to be developed and published by
@IOInteractive
.

Kind of hype. Love the new Hitman games. Excited to see what IO does with this.

What's your preference: old school and suave Bond or the more gritty Craig version?

I'd rather see IO do their own portrayal of Bond rather than Craig Bond.

Ole Grumpy should have been replaced by a new actor already.

It’s an origin story so it should be their own, also is probably 3 years away

Obviously, the only solution for the woke era is to have bond portrayed as a disabled, fat, transgender woman of color who doesn’t use evil guns.

This could be really good. The Hitman games, especially this gen, are fantastic. I love the open ended gameplay of Hitman but I think IO could produce a bit more linear 3rd person stealth action game with a tighter narrative and it would be awesome.

This is the perfect company to make a Bond game. Great pairing. I hope they deliver.

Suave bond all day, erryday.
This game should involve a lot of sneak, cool gadgets, escape puzzles, mystery elements you have to solve, conversation choices with real consequences, flirty puns, and awesome chase sequences. I think it would be a mistake to make this game too much of a first-person shooter, though there should be some combat as well.

The James Bond game set in New Orleans with the nanotech stuff was the best game ever.

Can’t think of the name.

Everything or nothing, maybe?

Should have made it into a movie
