The marketing for this game has been piss poor. If Ubisoft had marketed this game better and possibly just made the name "Immortals", this game would be getting a lot more attention.
I do think this has potential to be the next big series. The planned DLC looks insane too.

Im not sure why they changed the name from Gods and Monsters, that was also good one.
Im not sure who posted they have this on the switch and it looks bad, I'm playing on base ps4 and it looked like garbage, really washed it until I adjusted some of the visuals in the menu, most contrast. Once I tweaked the contrast it looks great, like an entirely different game

They had to change the name do to a trademark dispute with Monster Energy drink. Monster does have some games in the industry and didn’t want confusion. Ubisoft denied that was the reason and said it was a change in vision over the game.

I just did this last night. I’m really enjoying the game. It is 100% a hybrid assassins creed/BOTW game.
I’m very OCD with these types of games. I tend to clear things before I move on to story quests. I’ve played for 15+ hours and just collected the tears but haven’t gone to the vault yet.
I won’t be able to play again until Thursday. Freaking work!

This game is a joy to play. I’m four hours in and it doesn’t even feel like it.

When I get done with this game I am going to get the same feeling I got when I finished breath of the wild, "Now what?"
The only problem with finishing a good game is you know it will at least be months if not longer until you can get that experience again

Glad ya'll are liking the game as much as me. I just saved the fourth god. Most of my slots for weapon/armor/arrow/helm/axe are upgraded to the max. I'm putting off advancing the story so I can enjoy it longer. Just having fun with the puzzles and underworld lairs (whatever they're called).

May be worth looking into the season pass on this one for $40 (DLC) - Heard there is about another 25 hours of play in that

Bumping this thread. Saw gamsstop has this game on sale for 22 bucks today. Probably gonna check it out after reading yalls comments.

And yea, I was the one that had the switch version. I just got used to the shitty graphics and finished the game. It was pretty good overall, just not used to how jarringly bad the game looked (and yes, for the millionth time, I know that a third party game intended for next-gen consoles will not look nearly as good on the Switch's hardware).
But yea, I have no desire to play this game again. I would probably buy the season pass if the price ever dropped to $20, or a future installment of the game.

Old bump.
I picked this game up on sale the other day for $14. Open-world and play at your own pace, so right up my alley. I'm loving it. Runs great on my old PC. Highly recommend for anyone who hasn't already played it.
