I ended up beating her with Wanderer + quick bind and barbed bracelet. Not ideal but I went for a Hail Mary play because I didn’t feel like rosary farming, so I was like let’s just see what happens.
Took my time getting to phase 3 and then made it a point to focus on the tentacles coming out of the ground. That part would get me the most. Would always get caught in their path when dodging or jumping up for a heal.

Nice work. I did the Barbed Bracelet on a few bosses when I got sick of their shite and wanted to end the fight quick

About halfway through Hollow Knight. Fun game but extremely infuriating with lack of fast travel options and not being able to spend your currency easier

Silksong has a ton of fast travel options but the currency thing hasn't been as big of an issue. Very easy to farm IMO.

I can confidently say I am not capable of pulling that off

Dude how are you so good at these games? Just got to Act 3 and beat the bell beast thing. Some of the Act 2 bosses took me 50+ times

Holy shite bilewater is AIDS
Happy to finally explore it after I get double jump and it’s been a nightmare. Thank God I only had like 45 rosaries at the time. It’s the only place in the game I haven’t been able to get back to my cocoon once or twice

And I got to the boss and somehow it’s even worse. I’ll get it tomorrow. Just an annoying enemy gauntlet then a boss at the end you have to beat.
You can get out of the hidden save area without falling in the water but it’s pretty precise. At least you can just go right back to the bench if you don’t do it right and try again. But then you gotta hope you don’t fall in later on. So terrible

I’ll help you because this boss was BS. Kill the mob then when the boss appears immediately go to the bottom right of the arena IN the muck. He can’t hit you there unless he comes from the bottom which you can dodge. Sit there and jump up when safe to hit boss.
May take a few times but it’ll work

There are guys online that are FAR better than me, I just play every single one of these types of games and usually 100% them so I kinda know what to expect in terms of mechanics. I will say that this is one of the hardest of the genre - only one in the same stratosphere is Aeterna Noctis

Yes, this is a fine option. Also worth it to let him suck you up - you can attack him from inside his mouth and get lots of free licks

I got him. I feel terrible about it but that boss sucked arse. Basically did like you said and stayed in the water until I had opportunities and also used poisoned darts and sting shards. Also had to switch crests to reaper

Congrats! I’m in Act 3 and have made solid progress. Coral Tower is making me lose my freaking mind tho and have been on it for hours

At the final boss in Act 3 and have hit a wall.

I got a question. I’m in underworks getting things I missed and re exploring after opening it up from the wisp thicket. There’s a spool fragment where you have to go through a gauntlet to get to it and one of the larger enemies breaks the floor where there are blades in the middle.
So the question is, after beating the last guy, he drops an item and it immediately fell into the blades? Anybody know what it was and is there a way to get it again? The gauntlet wouldn’t reactivate after resting

Nothing important is missable. If it was one of the flyers that dropped the item, then it was probably a pin or similar "collect 25 of X" quest item and not a big deal

I finally finished this. Not sure what the consensus on it is but me personally I enjoyed it a lot more than Hollow Knight. I really dig Hornets base moveset so I didn’t use crest that altered it much other than to test things. I feel like the platforming is a step up in difficulty but a welcome one if you are a returning player. I loved how the game gave these minor reasons to traverse areas. An example of this is when I think you’re finding the bells on the floor of an area that would’ve been nothing more than a pass through

I never played the original Hollow Knight before playing Silksong. I ended up beating the Grand Mother Silk ending and most of the other bosses. I read you should play the original to enjoy one of the other Silksong endings and is what I am doing currently. Although, I haven't progressed too far in the original I do think the first game is quite a bit easier. I enjoy the fluidity and movement more in the second. Secondly, every "upgrade" whether it is the cloak, double jump, wall climb, etc felt more rewarding in Silksong. However, I like the Knight's power progression via lockets.

I’m getting to the end of act 3 now this seems to be the case.
I think all I have left is the main quest stuff because there are no more collectibles to gather or wishes to fulfill
