That seems entirely possible based on the trailer. It specifically mentions some areas leading to a dark path, and the character uses the killing curse. Shocked me they’d show that, but that would indicate to me all of the unforgivable curses are possible

Yeah for sure. You’re not going to be able to go fully dark but I bet there are certain sequences where you’ll have the option to add dark magic to your skills. Maybe not Avada Kedavra but some other dark magic

I dunno. There were multiple clips where the wizard totally vaporized his opponent or set them on fire and they burned up. I don't see the killing curse as any different.

I’m not really a Harry Potter fan, but the game looks like it has had ungodly amount of money put into it. The only thing I need to know is if I can adjust the settings so I don’t have to hear the spells shouted out every time I do something

I think it would be cool if the game followed the books/movies in that the incantation is simply there to focus the mind as an aid to novice casters, or for particularly difficult spells. So the further along you get in the game, you would stop using the incantation for all but the most difficult spells, and then ultimately you would stop using it completely.
Or they can frick it up and it turns into a meme
