Never. Still use the controller that came with the launch 360 I purchased.

When I get frustrated I'll flex the controller as if I'm trying to snap it in half. I feel like if I throw it I could risk breaking something more expensive.

I used to live in this apartment with the hardest floors imaginable. Once when I was done playing, I tossed the controller on the couch, it bounced off, hit the floor and exploded like glass. I was stepping on shattered plastic for weeks.
I also destroyed 2 or 3 ps2 controllers by smashing them. Probably pent up frustration from paying full price for one of the terrible EA NCAA basketball games.
