I haven't played the second game yet (fricking PS exclusives...), but I thought her personality in the first game made sense. She spent, literally, her entire life as an outcast, truly interacting with one other person and kinda sorta interacting with a handful of others. Anyone who comes from that background is going to have a personality that's more than a little fricked. The second game isn't set all that far into the future from the first, so I don't see that changing much. But it's certainly something that can be played with in future games.

I read 3 of these posts of bickering and all that I got out of it was that Roooaaddd is a closet homo who interprets any video game that gives a possibility of having lesbian sex as forcing him to suck dick at life.

Idk tho didn't have time to read it all lol i'm still gonna buy the horizon dawn dlc when i finish the original game.

Also the animations and mannerisms of the NPCs sometimes still look like they are straight from ME even though that was a decade ago
