Good video card?

Not wanting to drop $400 on a card right now and not wanting to wait to find a 680 actually in stock, so...
whats the next best option that would be solid for around 200?

sounds like a 560 Ti

I have this exact one, plays Skyrim and D3 on max settings.

eta: I take that back, this is the one I actually have.

GTX 560 is extremely close to being as good as the 560 Ti, and it's only $165 after $10 MIR.

and how important is the 1gb gddr over the 2gb?

It allows you to use multiple video cards for extra performance.

The only reason you may want 2GB is if you are running games at resolutions over 1080p and probably only if you are also using some heavy anti-aliasing.

I would get a Radeon 7850 over the 560ti but it's a little more expensive, around $30 or so.
