How many times have you edited a loadout in Warzone?

I've been debating either starting far cry 5 (never played any of those games before)

Played my first FC game not long ago. Went with 3. I don’t know if I would rank it among my favorite all time, but it was a lot of fun and well worth playing.

4 it's a better version of 3, 5 is my all time favorite, but I will say that I went back to 3 a while back and was surprised that the shooting seemed like the best in the series. Felt really good and the most responsive.

I'm looking forward to this, but I'm low key more interested in the game Barlog is directing. I have a theory that it's the new IP SSM was working on at the beginning of their in house documentary "Raising Kratos". When they had to do massive layoffs it got scrapped and you got the impression they were really hype about the game. Was pretty crushing for a lot of them to shelve it. After the success of GoW, I would bet good money they decided to resurrect it.

By the way, if you haven't watched Raising Kratos, definitely check it out. One of my favorite video game docs.

Do either 4 or 5 have the option to completely turn off camera sway? It wasn’t nearly as bad as the first Tomb Raider reboot was, but 3 still made me a touch motion sick if I played it too long

Honestly couldn't say. Nothing that ever bothered me so I never looked for it in the settings. I'd say 5....maybe. It seemed to have a pretty in depth menu but it's been a while since I messed with it.

I can imagine.

I did a quick Google search and it looks like you can "minimize" the head bob in 6. I think with 5 you can increase the FOV to help a little or take Dramamine.

Yeah, life’s too short and there are too many games in my Steam library for that nonsense

Yeah it’s a great doc and really goes to show how much work and dedication it takes to make a game like God of War. The story, each level and how it ties into the story and pace of the game. The in-game mechanics. Shuffling all of that while trying to get good performances from the motion capture actors.

Hell, the part where Chris Judge who plays Kratos, digs into his personal history while acting during a pretty pivotal scene is powerful stuff.

Him opening up the initial reviews after 5 years of that and getting that emotional always gets me. He was bearing the weight of everyone on that team and he knew if that failed they were looking for new jobs. I don't think I can fathom how that must have felt.

My buddies at work at all playing FC 5 now. I never finished that or FC 6 and am probably gonna go back soon. I'm in the process of finishing Valhalla right now. I started that a while back and got bored with it, but an enjoying it right now. It does get to easy once you get over levelled thought.

The weapons upgrade easier than the original trilogy.

There is some armpit options and ruins so I get kinda what your saying but it’s still minimal.

I get some games you can do way too much.

i still haven't played the first one. it just didn't play like the originals did for me. seemed too much like an RPG with too much fluff in the crafting weapons aspect.

Crafting is a very small part of the game, and frankly isn't necessary.

God of War is a truly excellent game, and I say that as someone who found the first few hours to be a bit tedious. Give it another shot and really try to push your way through. It's worth it.

ETA: This is actually a bit of a play by play of my experience with the game: LINK

I give Pagan Min a slight edge over Joseph Seed as my favorite villain in the series. The map barf is 4's biggest drawback. Any time I try to revisit it and I look at the map I almost immediately shut down. It's so much.

I tried. I really tried to play this one

Think this is worth it on a base ps4 or should I wait a couple of years until I can easily get a ps5? I have an XSX and really don’t need a new console but my ps4 is collecting dust

I have both and enjoy both. I would get the 5 also and did because the GoW series is one of my absolute favorites. Not sure if you play the Souls games, but the older titles upscale better on the PS5 than the Series X.
