It's his money. While I don't agree with the price for the build he purchased, I'm not going to insult him for it either.

Eta: But he really overpaid.

Do you by any chance have a Windows 10 key Gen or point me in the right direction? My go-to finally went into the trash.

Considering its 7pm before I get home and cleaned up... Yes an hour or two is more than i care to do. Sorry you cannot grasp the concept of time and the burn out from working on pc's all the time.

Why the hell are you guys so aggressive on the gaming board?

Sounds like you need to be more efficient with your time.

Hey guys....I have been following this thread and have never built my own PC but my 9 yr old daughter and I will be building one soon. She wants to go into computer engineering (at least that is what she is saying now) so I thought it would be a good father/daughter project. She will likely mainly play Minecraft right now but her older brother is really into Fortnite and she is starting to watch him play and becoming more interested in that type of gaming as well. I want to make it as future proof as possible without breaking the bank. Thanks for all the links in this thread...seems to be some better places then where I was looking at parts. My question to you all...I would like to keep the video card under $200 if possible. Would 1050 ti suffice for a few years or will it be rendered obsolete in 18 months and I will be back at square one? Thanks!!!

Slap an 8700K and Noctua on it.

No doubt on the Noctua. I'm still torn on the 8700k. But it's purely budgetary. It's the cheapest future proofing I can do right now, though.
