get blink/far reach immediately and upgrade it asap
Blink is definitely nerfed from the first one, but maybe that needs to be upgraded.

interesting, thanks
And no, I fight the urge to go easy mode and stick with normal with all games, so I'm not turning the dial up at all

So I've only done one DH2 playthrough, and that was as Emily, so I can't directly speak to how it performs relative to DH1. With that said, when I did a bit of research to help me decide which character to play as for my first playthrough, most people online seemed to find blink to be more powerful than far reach. With that said, I went from fully upgraded Corvo to Emily just getting her mark, so the shift in powers didn't really bother me. But if you went from fully upgraded Corvo to not upgraded Corvo with zero bone charms, I could see that being jarring at first.
But yeah, climb climb climb. On top of buildings when possible, balconies when not, and light fixtures both inside and outside when needed. If I could elevate and then travel via blink/far reach, I didn't even consider putting two feet on the ground.

Awesome. I'll give it another try. I'm on a streak of actually finishing games in my backlog and that one is definitely top of the list.

It’s really a lot of fun. As much as I enjoyed DH1, I like the DH1 DLC (Knife and Witches) and DH2 more than DH1. I would put Death somewhere in the middle.
I would also suggest playing as Emily your first go. Most people find the narrative fits her better, and I agree.

Wonderful game for many reasons. It's amazing that island is perfect for an open world. It's a real island, big enough to feel like your discovering new things but not too big.
The online game is pretty wild too.

RDR2. I just started playing this over the holidays and have had a blast hunting. I had over a thousand before I did too many missions in chapter two.

The combat in Tsushima is so satisfying. I thought the story was ok, some of the content got a little repetitive, but overall a really good game. Going to finish it soon.

Metal Gear Rising:Revengeance
I know its a spin off but I love the Metal Gear series and just got around to playing this in the last year or so. I'm not really into the hack and slash beat em up genre. I'll play a few here in there but I really enjoyed this one. The combat system was pretty simple to master and just so much fun. Cool story too.

I waited to play The Witcher 3 until 2019. That game made me an action rpg enthusiast.

Are you guys trying to walk north to The Strip from Goodsprings or some shite? The game flat out tells you not to do that.

Finish up the quests in Goodsprings, then follow the road SE then South towards Primm. You have plenty of time later for Deathclaws and Cazadors to frick up your day

I rushed through it on ps4, playing now on next gen and it's great. So much content and i'm weeks away from hitting the expansions. How did the team that created that mess up so bad on cyberpunk... i don't get it.

TW3 was a bit of a buggy mess when it was released as well. And the rumor mill has that they outsourced bug testing on CP2077, and that company lied their asses off.
Ultimately, they stuck with it and Cyberpunk is now well worth playing if you have the hardware to push it, so I'm not particularly inclined to shite on them over it.

Wildlands or Breakpoint?
ETA I think I would like Breakpoint if I put some time into it, but the there is one awful problem with it: what I assume is the main hub has a lot of people there recovering from something and there is this one guy who will NOT...STOP.....COUGHING!!! It's so distracting when you're walking around trying to buy or upgrade and it's just contant **COUGH COUGH COUGH...............COUGH COUGH**
