If you are in a less populated area, take your time. Get a decent rifle/shield/shotty and a few hundred materials to build with.

If you land in towers/retail/friendly you better get something and start shooting immediately. I tend to hide/listen for encounters then shoot whoever won the duel.

Well boys, I can confirm that getting 2nd in Solo Squad no fill is the worst feeling in the history of the universe. I’m tempted to swerve into oncoming traffic right now. I wipe out an entire squad in wailing while a dude in a big base wipes out a 3 stack with an rpg. I bum rush 2 dudes that are healing in a 2x2 and kill them both, wiping out their 2 downed guys as well. It’s now 1v1v1. I pump the 2nd to last guy and the guy in the base rushes me. We have a build off, I land a glancing blow with the pump and 1 shot with the SCAR before he RPGs me.

I feel so awful right now. So upset. Solo Squad W is the one thing that seems to elude me. I've gotten 2nd 3 times in it so far, but the first 2 I was against full 3 and 4 stacks. It really takes a perfect storm to have a winnable scenario at the end. I finally get that perfect storm and I can't get it done. Damn

That's pretty much what I did, I didn't really see anyone of note until about 10 left. I scurried my arse up the hill to the middle of the circle and cleaned up a dude that just won a gun fight. Then I climbed into the roof of a house, built a couple traps downstairs, knocked down a wall, and built my own. I stuck a door into the side of it and waited for the last two to fight it out.

Throw open door, light up last dude, get win.

Anyone else on PS4 experiencing lag ever since the update a week or so ago?

I think it acts up more often when you are in close quarters. Multiple times I’ve lagged only to find out I’m dead when it comes back a second later.

It’s so annoying.

I have been seeing people talk about this game. So it's free? And to make it worth dloading, do you have to buy any expansion packs to play currently online?
