Seems like every time I get killed I'm sprinting to get to ththe next circle. Is there anything to prevent that? Build a wall behind you every 50 meters or so? I have no idea.

Anyone hear anything about people accidentally getting a stupid amount of V-bucks randomly added to their accounts?
A friend that plays on PS4 with us randomly got 550,000 V-bucks a few weeks ago--that's $5,500 worth.
Dude has just been buying literally everything possible and has barely put a dent in it.

frick that stupid arse add in to the game that you can crouch and build. It's fricking stupid. You can't uncrouch unless you get out of build mode.

The PC skill gap on this game is huge. You'll find less bad people on console.

Which is why cross platform in this game is a dumb idea if you’re involving PC players. Having every building key bound to your mouse buttons is an advantage that console players can’t match.
I wish epic would allow controller players to bind the four building buttons to L1/L2 and R1/R2.

I agree. I wish every thing was bendable. I'd go left and right D-Pad as the swap weapons and make l1 r1 Wall and Ramp

I hate this. It was really uncalled for. I have gotten used to it but for the longest time I thought it was a glitch or something.

The glitch or bug still around is that you can’t uncrouch again unless you jump. I wish they’d revert that back to the way it was. Building was so much smoother without accidentally crouching and having to jump to get out of it.

It isn't a glitch though. They intentionally changed the controls. You used to not be able to crouch when building. If you were crouched it would automatically put you standing when pulling out your tools. Now it doesn't. Problem is you no longer have a crouch button as it is not available in build mode. It isn't that you hit crouch when building, it is that you are already crouched when you pull your build tools out, and it keeps you there. This is why it happens mostly when you are in a fort as you crouch on stairs in them. It's a pretty uncalled for change. Who wants to move like a snail when building? But Epic had talked about wanting to add crouch building for consoles on reddit for awhile before the change. The solution sucks. Works much better for PC players.

I don't think I have encountered that. The times I have brought it up when playing was just how I could not get out of it when building. Muscle Memory had me just building anytime I wanted, took awhile to adjust to.
