80 solo wins? Wtf

Play mostly squad at this point, made some friends online that we play with.

I'm pretty casual, not a lot of wins but of the few I have, two were a lot of fun with almost identical endings.

First one:
Me and two others are up against two remaining squads. They run after a team of three on one side, I flank a team of two on the other. I managed to get my guys down, and one drops an RPG. My teammates drop, but down one of the other guys too. I run over, and they tell me they're rezzing one the guy who is down inside a building they built that is up against the storm wall and has a wall missing. So I figure, WTF?
Rocket blast into the building, 3 kill, and win the round. So much fun :)

Second go around, I'm the last one vs three. One comes hunting me, but drop them with my shotty and he drops... the RPG. Two more come at me from the other side, and I try with my SCAR but honestly, just not that good a shot with it when also scrambling for dear life. Switch to the RPG, blast the two into oblivion before they can drop me. Heart was pounding on that one.

Honestly, Fortnite has been a lot of fun. Feels way less toxic than Overwatch's community. Squad play is where I have the most fun, but have enjoyed Duos as well. Very, very rarely play Solo. Just not as much fun to me, and also feels like I have terrible luck (popping into a building, first thing I find is bandages and the guy near me gets a shotgun, etc)

Wish more people used mics though.

Just recently found this game and love it. Although I suck. If I get a kill then I consider it a good match. I'm averaging a kill every other match I play in solo.
Did manage to win a game though.

Was the most rewarding feeling gaming in quite some time.

got 2nd place with 8 kills, guy that killed me at the end was in a bush costume and had 0 kills. he had full shields, i had none with 75 health. what a fricking pussy. anyone that uses those bush suits is a pussy. he killed me with 6 fricking hp left

got frickin furious, played another solo game and won

i was in a squad game and we got wiped early, im last one left. make it to top 10, find a bush suit. against my better judgement, i use it, considering the odds are stacked against me. i get 2 kills and wait. guy smoked me as i was looking for him with a sniper.

I've been battling my Epic account being banned for like two months now with no response--finally got one back this week and it says I was banned because of the "particularly egregious nature of your name".

WTF. I've had this PSN account for 10 years now with no problem. There is nothing wrong with my PSN name. If there was, Sony would have put the hammer down YEARS ago.

is it just me or is Epic Games a bunch of assholes?

I've been watching summit1g play this on twitch recently. He makes the game look so easy. The building knowledge on some of these high tier players is cool to watch

I never bush, and I only camp in squad matches where my team dies early. I've had matches where my squad dies to 3 guys, and I clear out all 3. At that point I'm working on limited resources, rarely ever more than 75 health and hoping to get some picks. My biggest issue is lack of skill with the sniper rifle; if I was better, I'd probably be more aggressive in those situations but I admit it's a weakness. So instead I try and play the long game so I can get it close.

Still trying to get better with the sniper rifles, but there's not a lot of time to "practice" in live games, and the single player isn't very useful for practicing against human players.
