Man...the randoms I am getting paired up with have somehow gotten worse.
It used to be like every 10 matches I would get paired with someone decent. Now it's every 50 if I am lucky.
Can't they at least have some sort of filter to where people can mark whether they use a mic or something?

we usually get terrible ones, but we struck gold with 2. one guy has become a staple in our party for the past month or so and has like 350 wins, and the other one is a foul-mouthed little 9y/o girl we met last night
i killed someone while at a soccer field and get a party invite from her. i join and ask her who she is and she's like "im the little girl you just killed" in a sweet little kid voice. i apologize and she's like "yeah i just wanted the soccer challenge." I was like ok you can join us and you'll get it. she ran with us the rest of the night and was actually pretty good for a 9y/o. listening to her commentary was hilarious

i killed a no skin yesterday and felt horrible about it. he's running down in the river and i nail him two times with a burst. he turns and starts shooting back at me with a tac shotgun (poor thing). i just sit there watching and he finally manages to put up a single wall. i flank him and end up right above him and look down to see him completely stationary, switching weapons EXTREMELY slowly, as if he didn't know which weapons were good or bad and had to study each for a second. i triple headshot him and proceed on my way. almost invited him to the party to show him a thing or two
also of note, i played my first round of sniper duos as a solo yesterday just to knock out some challenges. ended up winning the whole thing with 7 kills, felt pretty good I had the hopscotch noscope fights down pat.

I'll probably go on a marathon tonight. Might actually start playing for wins. Been playing nothing but 50v50 so no stat changes.

so not a major accomplishment and it came cheap... but i finally got a victory royale after 10+ #2 finishes and 100s of matches. feels good man.
i just can't mentally build fast enough to compete when it comes to one on one.
i won a hunting rifle battle with one dude to knock it down to 4 left. 2 dudes in the structure in front of me battle it out. one of them kills the other one with a trap... and i have the presence of mind to notice it on the game log.
other guy sitting to the side snipes the dude who just got the trap kill... i remember the trap kill and just watch him waltz in there, goes to gets his stuff and gets the trap from beyond the grave.
cheap but i'll take it for a first VR.

Nice. Now it isn't looming over your head and it's easier to get more now. I'd go into 50v50 and practice situational awareness and building.

i love the accounts of first victories. now you need to get a solo W in standard mode, duo, squad, etc. need to "hit for the cycle," then start stacking wins since your nerves wont be as bad

Got my first solo squad victory. Landed shifty but nobody went there for some reason. Went tilted and killed 2 teams of 3. Left and went towards salty and saw a solo and we had a build battle and it ended up that I let him get the high ground so he stops looking for me because the storm was coming. He was only focused on me and not the storm. He launches out of divot and we end up at dusty and he engages another team and I come in and finish the last 3 to win.
Think it was around 9 or 10 kills

Though, I will day it's amazing how much more mats I used in snipers vs normal solo or duo's. I didn't feel comfortable unless I had 1600ish.

I think the teams of 20 final showdown is so much fun. If you can get a crew somewhat coherent and that are willing to rush, you will win most of the games.

I play a little with my boys, they love it and are sooo much better than me. If I get A kill, I am happy. My strategies are good, I just cant implement them at all. I cant build at all. Well, I can build, but I really dont know what the hell I am doing as I build
