Considering it's on BestBuy's domain, does that really constitute a leak? 
I would still be interested in a 3080fe (only because I could sell my 3070fe for more than the MSRP of the 3080fe...), but I doubt they will have fe, and even if they do, I'm not super inclined to go camping for it

Around 9am Several of the FE sku's buttons switched over to "In Store Only" (along with several non-FE 3060 Tis and 3070s), could be an indicator there will be some FEs available though I'm not showing any 3080s that have switched.

In spite of some mixed reviews early on, I genuinely hope Nvidia maintains (roughly) the design of the fe for the 40 series, both aesthetics and the cooling solution. I love it, and it fits my build well.

I imagine they don't really care who they sell to, but they don't want the liability of hundreds of people lining up, and then getting pissed off.

Well my newborn wasn’t letting me sleep anyway, so I drove out here. About 60-80 people in front of me, so guaranteed I won’t get an 80, probably not a 70 either. Might flip a 3090 to a buddy or snag a 70TI.

I drove by Best Buy in BR and line was half way around the store. It was raining and lightening at the time which I could tell caused about 1/2 of them to sit in their car but their chairs and tarps were still in the line. What people will do to save a few hundred bucks amazes me.

Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not waiting in line for one. However, they're saving more than a few hundred. Cards are going for over double MSRP right now on ebay.

Got a 70ti, the way they did it was kinda stupid. They were handing out vouchers card by card starting with the 90, so when they got to 70ti I still had 40-50 people in front of me with no idea how many wanted 70s vs 60ti, so I took it, but the 70 ended up making it where I would have been. Oh well, finally got one even though it wasn’t exactly what I wanted.

I dont understand why they didnt stick with the format they used for the 3080Ti Launch last month.
It was a bit unusual, but because the truck delivering the GPUs was running late on launch day, they let you walk into the store, sign up for a voucher, which card you wanted, and the next morning, they literally opened the doors at 8 am and we all quietly, and in a very organized fashion, purchased our cards. I think everyone was out of the store by 8:30 and nobody waited in line at all.
It was the smoothest hardware launch i've seen or heard of since this debacle began.
