Mass Effect doesn’t quite meet your characteristics, but I suspect it’s dead after how terrible Andromeda was. I just don’t understand how they killed off such an amazing franchise. I still replay ME2 every couple of months.

Original ending to 3 and broken promises during gameplay was a precursor to how bad they have gotten, then Andromeda sealed the deal.

I would say Legacy of Kain if the story didn't become batshit insane in the latter half of the franchise.
