Far Cry Primal

Anyone interested in this game? I loved FC4 and the primitive weapons might be a nice twist. I think I'm going to wait until the reviews come out to make a decision.

Far Cry 3 was damn good. Far Cry 4 felt forced. Primal feels like they're trying too hard to do something different. Waiting for reviews.

I have it ordered I got it for $38. Not sure how I will like it, but I enjoyed 3 and 4.

I don't know about it. I think it will run out of things to do in the game very quickly without vehicles/guns/etc.

Gameplay looks like I'd get tired of it quickly. It looks like it'd be fun to try, but dlc type of interest.

Huge Far Cry fan, especially on PC. The worlds of those games really pull you in. It is one of the very very games where graphics > gameplay for me.

Have 3 and 4 and enjoyed them both. This one looks lame though. Could get old fast.

Reviews almost universally say Primal is a cut and paste of FC3 and 4, just with less weapons...a club, a spear and a bow.
Let's get the bottom line out of the way up front: Far Cry Primal certainly isn't the best Ubisoft game—or even the best Far Cry game. It is, however, perhaps the most Ubisoft game I've played yet. That doesn’t say anything about the game’s breadth, depth, or quality of content. But in terms of how that content is presented, it’s pure, distilled Ubisoft all the way.
Yeah, I'll be getting this during a Steam sale if at all.

I'm good with this. Like stated above, I don't play FC for the gameplay but the world it puts you in. The games are beautiful on PC.

They obviously didn't realize what makes far cry fun. The amount of crazy stuff to shoot, blow up, drive, make, etc. was what made it great. Not petting a god damn tiger.
