Picked this up today. Played a little bit and once son goes to bed will really get into it.

So far though it is looking fantastic!

Finally finished the main story line. I was disappointed with the ending.

This game is pretty cool I'm loving the sidequests. I got the shite scared out of me by a crocodile earlier though lol

I just killed vaas and frick, that was a letdown. Why should I have a shite about this other guy when all I've seen/heard about him is Dennis' rambling.

I'm not really digging all this rakyat and warrior stuff. It's pretty weak. I wish it would've been a straightforward story.

The gameplay more than makes up for the plot's shortcomings, though. The game is a blast.

I picked FC3 up a day or two before Christmas and can't put it down - it's gotten me off Halo 4.

I haven't done much on the main quest. I've been focusing on the hunter and wanted dead quests, getting the radio towers activated and hunting to upgrade my gear. I finally got the biggest rucksack last night.

Overall, this game is great. I'd recommend it for sure. I brought it to a friend's house before celebrating with my family for the holidays, and he played it non-stop while I left it there. Two thumbs up.

I think I'm also going to try to start finding more of the WWII letter or whatever. I think buying the maps helps with that a lot.

I haven't, however, been able to clear an enemy stronghold without being detected at all.

I'm waiting for this game to drop in price before I pick it up. Amazon has Halo 4 at $39.99 right now. I'm going to stop by Gamestop and see how much a used copy is before I buy it. I probably wont play halo multi, just campaign.

I did the "bad" ending.

You have to be a true sadist in order to choose that path. I only did it because Brannen told me I wouldn't. Manipulated into the dark side.

Well, I must be doing something wrong then b/c I have the bow

I'm going to try to clear a few tonight after work and will try to be more stealth-ly. It's just so tempting to roll up those bases guns blazing.

I was seduced by the jungle and saw it the whole way through, pretty sure there aren't too many people here who would choose that ending

Also, my name on all the red rocks probably served as a subliminal message.

The best strategy I found for capturing bases undetected is to get a sniper rifle with a good scope and a suppressor. You can shoot the alarms first, then pick the bad guys off from a distance.

Yeah, sneak up and plant C4 and mines in the outskirts of the outposts. When you start picking off guards they will close in your location and the mines and C4 will serve as excellent deterrents.
