The land they are showing is Skyrim. Weird.

Some of the announcement links call it ES6: Skyrim 2. Could be laziness on the part of the Youtubers, though.

I know nothing about nothing, just passing it along.

Wonder if it’s gonna be in the Redguard area.

Probably no shocker here, but I'm seeing on twitter that ESVI and Starfield are going to be on the next gen consoles.

I feel like the Elder Scrolls VI announcement was a subtle troll job by Bethesda.

It's so early in development that all they have is literally a font and a nondescript landmass.

Bethesda is pumping out a lot of different games lately. I feel like their focus right now is on publishing, milking the Fallout franchise, and working on their new IP. Making a new Elder Scrolls puts them in direct conflict with ESO.

I think that it's Hammerfell. The landscape being arid would lead me to think that it's either Hammerfell or Elsweyr. Hammerfell also has mountains (the Dragontails) as shown in the trailer. I don't know Elsweyr geography enough to know whether there are mountains there. Also from a storytelling perspective, I think Hammerfell would make more sense as it in now an independent province broken off from the Empire and at war with the Aldmeri Dominion.

Nice map. I would also believe that it's High Rock. If so, it would be awesome if it also included Hammerfell.

Good. Bethesda develops for consoles and ports to PC. If it’s for next gen systems, our PC version won’t be as gimped at launch until third party mods come out

It'll be X1/PS4, then ported again to the newer platforms. They live off porting their games to other platforms.

Well that makes me feel better. I'll end up getting the next gen, but probably not until a year or two after they are released.

I thought High Rock was already featured in a proper Elder Scrolls game (Daggerfall). It's unusual for Bethesda to return to the same province twice.

Maybe I was dreaming but I could have swore he said "Starfield" will be next generation. Then ES 6 will be after that.

Seems pretty clear that you won't get this on PS4.

I’ve heard multiple Youtubers protest it being called Elder Scrolls because it’s a bad SEO compared to Skyrim. They get a ton more hits off videos with Skyrim than just elder scrolls. So that’s why they put it like that.

Frankly, I’d be pissed if it’s still in Skyrim. Show us somewhere else

That is exactly what he said, and honestly, if we take him at his word, Starfield is coming out first then Elder Scrolls 6. They showed off basically nothing for either game, meaning they both are probably in the initial stages of development. I doubt we will see Elder Scrolls 6 on current gen hardware.

That is my point. This game won't be around until 2022 earliest by the sound of it.

Don't know. Could be high rock, could be elsweyr.
if the storyline started in Morrowind continues we may see Akavir
Things predicted in Morrowind
>Oblivion crisis
>Civil war destabilizes Tamriel
>Akavir invades after waiting for the civil war to tear everyone apart
Hopefully they continue that line
