I'll look up some videos. But I'm not starting anything yet as Spiderman 2 comes out on PC at the end of Jan.

I’ll just tell you a story of what happened the first time I played it
You start off as a dirt poor idiot in a shite village who and I mean this literally can’t read write or even really speak beyond retard level. You’re given no real push towards anything so I read some tips online and it said spend an hour or grabbing all the flowers around the village to build herb skill and stuff. So I did that and then saw a gate gaurd with some cool gear and I was wearing a pillow sheet so I snuck up on and choked him to death and stole it. Well folks… turns out I wasn’t so stealthy and was caught and put in jail. Seems fair ok I know how this goes it’s a game right? Wrong, the town gets so mad they come and burn the jail down killing me setting me back to the very beginning negating all that work.
That type of shite is why people like it imo. The combat is actually pretty shite hope the sequel improves it

No - there's an element of realism to it. You should manage sleep, hunger, etc. Combat is tough at first. Because you're a welp. It's easy to get overwhelmed and die. Quests auto-resolve if you don't get to where you need to be when you're supposed to be there.
The biggest problem I had with KCD was it eventually devolves into "Go to this town to talk to this person, now go to this other town to talk to this other guy, then go back to the first town."

While this story made me chuckle, I would absolutely hate this.

I’ve played like over 500 hours of the game and I’m not aware of anything really similar happening that wipes you out. I think the idea is you literally just started and they thought it would be funny, because it’s hilarious look up the cutscene on YouTube, for some reason they didn’t guess gamers would spend 90 minutes flower picking jn their slave outfit before they left town or went to combat training

I’m actually shocked how many people I know or have talked to that have played just as much of kcd as me or more and have no idea this is even a thing. I guess they’re just all a bunch of proper nancies who go to their reading lessons and combat training dressed in the potato sack they gave Kelly Tran in the last Jedi

Apparently the insider rumor is that Bioware's Edmonton branch, who actually made Veilguard will be shuttered in February.
