Ncaa football is the greatest sports game to me.
Just the whole idea of it. I really hate it went away, but especially before it was available for the next gen consoles at that time.
I pretty much only keep my 360 around for ncaa, but I still don’t bother playing it as much because I rather not get it out.

It was already falling apart as a series. NCAA '14 was kind of terrible if we are all being honest. Inexcusable load times, taking things like team creator off the disc for no good reason, recruiting is terrible, the defenses are broken, lack of full control of scheduling, inability to create or kill conferences, and the continued inability to add created teams without being forced to drop real teams all make '14 a very sad swan song.

Why doesn't EA just make the game with all the colleges in it and randomly generate players?

This. The gameplay was awful and not balanced at all.

the thing that NCAA did really well was attempt to stay up to date with college offensive playbooks. it made playing with different programs a hell of a lot of fun.

Running the option offense with oregon in '14 was so fun to play. They had some kind of WR option with the slot guy that was so tough to stop
