Funny. Everyone I've ever seen say this kind of shite suck arse at the games they play when you take away all their "paid for" shite.
"Pay to win" is fine for single player experiences but online games against other players should never be "pay to win".

They said they reduced the cost of heroes but they forgot to mention they also reduced the amount of credits you get for finishing the campaign by the same percentage. 
They responded to the outrage by reducing the cost by 75% but also reducing the rewards you get by 75%, leaving the actual difficulty to acquire characters exactly the same.

This is literally not true.
They reduced the amount of credits you get for finishing the campaign because they reduced the cost of Iden Versio. She now costs 5k which just so happens to be what they give when you finish the campaign. Just like when they gave 20k She cost 20k.

That's because the reward meant for finishing the campaign was enough credits to buy the character Iden Versio. They dropped the cost of unlocking the heroes so the reward was lowered too.

They didnt reduce all of the credit rewards 
. You can unlock all of the heroes within 40 hrs of gametime now. Before it was you could unlock maybe 1 with 40 hrs

Games as a Service doesn't have to equate to ripping off your customer base. Ubisoft (ironically) does this model better than any other publisher.

Easiest game I can think of to use would be super smash bros. Had 12 characters to play with only 8 unlocked from the get-go

This is why you should all switch to ESO. Real money is for cosmetic stuff only for the most part and they're putting out great new content all the time. I hate all the new gaming models of cutting shite out of games just to resell it later (see Destiny 1 and 2 for a prime example of this as well)

I haven't looked at a steam achievement in years. But I do know people that can't play a game without 100% the trophies. More power to them if they find it fun
