My build.
Fire frozen orbs until you run out of AP. When your ap is is out spam electrocute. The prodigy passive builds your ap back up really fast. Spam more orbs. When you run into an elite pack hit archon and melt them in a few seconds. Frozen orb handles trash with ease.

Just a reminder that that is only class changes. There will be other changes made that could not be retrieved from data mining because of the way it is stored.

They need to buff the legendary drop rate then too
I am close to cutting the cord on this game. Farm high end torment rifts and pulling maybe 1 terrible legendary every 2 hours. Not enjoyable
Especially since a lot of people myself included don't want to play just one character. I'd enjoy being able to gear out several classes, but with the current drop rates no way would I dedicate that kind of time.

I got my DH to 70 Sunday night and I'm already over 600k DMG and 4 mil toughness from finding gear. As others have stated, I've been farming normal until I find gear high enough to move into higher difficulties. I can run master really easy and torment 1 pretty easy now.

Well my loot problems are making that difficult.
I'm not running above where my character is geared. The runs are quick and painless. Only a few minutes more than the lower tiered runs. Still spend the most time popping chests etc.

So true, everything is constant and they have upped the drop rate, what could possibly be wrong? Oh wait that's right, you can't trade anything between accounts.
It's still 1 legendary per hour IF you're lucky. The majority of legendaries/set items pulled aren't upgrades or useable due to random rolls.
That's a ton of time dedicated just hoping to pull something decent.

The current drop rate is fine if legendaries had fixed stats like in diablo 2. The randomness of affixes dictates that the drop rate be higher. We should be finding 2-3 per hour of rift farming minimum IMO.

Looks like the other classes are getting buffs to bring them in line with the Wiz / Monks. One of the few times that classes aren't nerfed to bring them more in line.

What the frick? Either you play way more than I do or I'm an unlucky bastard. I'm around 250K dmg / 5 mill toughness...trying to get damage up without losing too much toughness.

Honestly RNG is RNG. I have 2 set items and a Thunderfury on my Barb, and there are the days like yesterday when I play for 2 hours and get nothing. It's pretty frustrating.

Did exceptional items in D2 have fixed stats? I remember getting shitty rolls on ED% Titans.

Blame BoA for this. D2 you could trade between accounts, made it much easier to get gear for a new char once you had an established farming method for tradeable items like Pgems and SoJ.

The damage and toughness numbers on the character sheet can be very misleading, unfortunately. Toughness in particular. The game highly values vit/life % yet those values are completely meaningless if you don't have the All Res and Armor to back them up. My barb has like 180k health and I breeze through T1 effortlessly.
The main things you want with survivability:
1. A roughly 10:1 Armor:All res ratio (and as much as you can get of both).
2. A "comfortable" amount of health. Basically, you just want to avoid getting 1-shot on your chosen difficulty.
3. Enough healing. There's no hard numbers for this because it depends on a lot. Basically, the amount of healing you have becomes more effective with increasing All Res/Armor because you physically take less damage

They removed the Flawless Royal requirement for level 70 set items.
