Watched some one play it today. Apparently it's not bad but disappointing. Can game developers ever make a game that is actually really good? Next gen has been a huge letdown so far.

Can you ever post something positive?

What good is pre loading a frikking game? Every time I pre load a game the game has to download all over again when it releases.

going to sink so much time into this. since my last post about finishing the 1st level, ive been wandering around the apartment complex where you start in the hub world. so much fun shite. if you can't hack the keypads to get inside, you can climb in through windows or vents.
one apartment had all kinds of cat pictures, posters, beds, etc. you can find a To-Do List that reads
Buy
Cat Food
Cat Litter
Cat Toys
Cat Posters
Catnip
New Cat
and then you see a book on her couch that gives advice on dealing with social phobias
i wont go into others, but just tons of shite like that so far. that's the kind of shite that just pulls you in and makes you lose track of time. some cool knick-knacks in your own apartment as well
eta: was creeping around in someone's apartment and went into the bathroom to scavenge. Radio on a shelf is playing the Hong Kong Streets music from the original Deus Ex on pc. So awesome
running to walk the dog. will be back in in a bit

I've been very disappointed after being cut loose in Prague. Seems like nothing but roadblocks.
I just want to get to the goddamn bookstore to fix my augs, for fricks sake.

I've done some hacking and exploring but gaining access to the next area seems needlessly restrictive.
Maybe my mood will change tomorrow after additional play time but I was getting sick of running into roadblocks.

I spent about an hour in it last night, no glitches ran on very high setting with MSAA off and stayed at 55-60 FPS with VSYNC on.
I had to turn off discoverable objects because there are too many things you can pick up and throw and it made the game look like crap with all the white outlines. The death animation is makes it hard to know when you have killed someone so I usually end up wasting a few extra bullets before I realize the guy is dead.
I made it to the apartment but stopped there, wasn't overly impressed but I think it was my mood last night. I should get farther into it tonight.

You can turn off the white outline.
For me, less shite on the screen, the better

I enjoy the game for the most part. There are some times where sneaking becomes impossible. I am using nonlethal methods and my one complaint is that there are no sneaky takedowns. I wish you could silently take people down.
I have made it to Golem City in the storyline. I feel the story is somewhat predictable, but I have a feeling it'll trick me later on.

Had one running Ultra at the train station on my Fury and 6600k. Dropped it down to very high and now it's buttery smooth.
DX12 support can't come fast enough, or at least a patch.

I"m about to fire this up in a little while, I think I will start over.

Just finished my aug fix. The game is really growing on me, I did have one freeze in three hours playing. This edition is not as easy or forgiving as the past games, I find that you are put in compromising positions with nowhere to hide when found most of the time. I think I am really going to like this game.
