As long as they hold to the original story and game, I am definitely in.
There is nothing to improve on beyond graphics with Dead Space.

The makers of the Dead Space 1 and 2 have since left EA and founded Striking Distant Studios. EA had a hand in fricking up Dead Space 3. But they are working on a new game that is very similar to dead space called "The Callisto Protocol".

So fricking in. Love this game and this whole Extended Universe.
I do agree with Carson that DS2 was better, but that doesn't mean DS1 wasn't a fan-fricking-tastic game.

I completely forgot about this game. I'm glad you reminded me about it.
Looks like it'll be Dead Space re-skinned, but nothing wrong with that!

One of the things I'm excited to see is how well they execute the "no load screens" part.
I wonder if they'll still have "background loading" like when a player has to slowly squeeze through a crack in the wall, climb a long ladder, etc.

I heard somewhere that Callisto Protocol was the game that they originally wanted to make, but pivoted to make Dead Space instead (not that I’m in any way complaining). I am super excited for the Dead Space remake, but I’m glad the original team got out from under EA to be able to create the game that they want, and the fact that we will be getting both games within 2 months of each other is awesome!

You could have told me this was the original game graphics and all and I wouldn't have batted an eye. Would certainly play again, but this isn't the game i would have poured money into remaking. The original was damn good.
