Good. Too much shite coming out soon anyway. DOOM Eternal March 20, Resident Evil 3 remake April 3. I know I'm missing a bunch but those two alone will keep me personally busy through May most likely.

It will be delayed again, that's a horrible date for release.

First let me say, I’m all for Developers taking their time to make sure games are ready for launch, but do deadlines not mean shite anymore?

I tend to agree with bad93ex.

When September rolls around, they will kick it on back to November to better coincide with the holiday cash storm.

Hmm this make me even more curious if there will be a separate release for next gen systems. Since its releasing now so close to launch of the PS5 and Series X hopefully it will just be an enhancement patch like the One X games.

witcher 3 was delayed close to launch and it turned out ok.

ill give CDPR the benefit of the doubt.

as stated already, there are a lot of other games out there to hold everyone over

I mean CDPR is up there with Rockstar imo in regards to me questioning anything they do......I just don’t do it.

They both make decisions that almost always lead to the game being as good as it possibly can. I can wait longer if the game isn’t finished. I find it really funny when a game is released and is a pile of shite at launch because the devs and distributors rushed it out and people complain about an unfinished game being released, but when the opposite happens people bitch just as much.

They can’t win apparently.

It's a very big, very ambitious game. I'd much rather it be delayed than released a buggy mess.

From what I understand even the Witcher 3 was a bit of a mess at first and took numerous patches to get to an ok level. I didn't play it at launch so I can't say for sure.

And as others have mentioned, March and April this year are jam packed already.

An awesome start to the year has turned into nothing. Last of Us and now Cyberpunk.

And yes, we all want completed games but I wish companies would stop shooting out dates that they clearly know they are never going to meet.

It's such a weird feeling; I'm relieved that Cyberpunk got delayed because now my Spring gaming schedule should be manageable.

I learned at a very young age that you just have to expect delays. I think my first big annoyance was waiting for windwaker when I was a kid.

Stop this shite. This is how you get shite like fallout.

I'm ecstatic whenever a game is delayed now. Sick of devs leaving content out and relying on patches to fix games broken on release because they were rushed to meet an arbitrary deadline set by a publisher. Gamers' friends are the developers, not the publishers. Take announced dates as ballpark figures rather than absolutes and go from there. I applaud any group of developers that are able to convince the greedy arse publishers to let them finish (or at least get closer to) their vision for the game.

Oh I'm sure they'll still leave content out. That's why you have season passes/month 1 DLC.
