I have both. I like both. Usually the exclusives to each console are pretty good.
For multiplayer games I usually go with Xbone (Call of duty, titanfall, etc) in my office away from the kids.
For mainly single player story games, I go with PS4 on my bigscreen.
I think they are pretty even in nice features.

Really? The X360 controller is my least favorite controller of all time behind the Atari Jaguar.

Serious. I just hate the joystick placement and the LB/RB buttons. It's overall feels awkward.

Listen here, Henry. People sometimes make poor choices in life. But I'm not the kind of person to glorify your poor choices. Or anyone else's. So, let's not make console purchases out to be a positive life decision.

Meh. None of my friends play on PC. Plus is I was going to build a PC it wouldn't be just decent. I would want top of the line and was told in the giant PC thread if I wanted a top of the line gaming rig I'd have to spend $1500+

Only own tONE as of now, but may get a PS4 eventually. If there's an amazing game that drops, that'll probably be my trigger for purchase.
As of now, I'm completely content with my ONE. I don't game everyday, but I use my XBONE for at least a few hours everyday(TV, Netflix, YouTube etc) so it's been a great purchase for me.

I have both consoles. Last gen I owned both as well but was majority 360. Save for a infamous and the last of us I used my ps3 as a blurry player. I'm of the persuasion, like most peasants that I get consoles for exclusives. 360 had 95% of my games. So when they announced the next gen consoles I was all in on xbone. Then things just started to unravel form Microsoft. Most of my buddies were going to ps4 anyway so I decided to get that first, being 100 bucks cheaper surely helped as well. I was going to use ps4 for multiplatform games and xbone for exclusives.
Got my ps4 at launch with bfap and loved it. I was really impressed with the controller as well. It even ousted the 360 controller as my favorite. Then I got an xbone with DR3...I have to say I was really underwhelmed. Controller sticks feel too loose like the DS3 IMO. UI which was near perfect on 360 got botched for windows 8 crap and it's not as fluid as the UI on ps4.
Then Titanfall came out and I was completely underwhelmed with that game. Don't get me wrong it's decent but there was so much hype for that game it just didn't deliver IMO. Only thing I felt was new and nice was the parkoring element and I didn't care much for Titan combat.
Voice control is nice on connect but that's about it for the camera. I don't regret buying the xbone because I want it for future Halos, GoW, Quantum Break, and other exclusives but Microsoft got knocked down a peg in my book while Sony has taken the lead to be my go to console for the foreseeable future.

Mario Kart 8 will be the first game purchase I've had for the Wii U in a while. I'm excited.
