I think you’re going to be alone on that island for a while, mate
I’m coming up to the end of Act 2 on my second playthrough, but it sounds like I should work through the base content before taking a crack at the patch content, so it’s going to be a minute.

The combination of new weapons pictos and other things in this DLC definitely benefits Lune the most on balance. To the point I’m using a party of Maelle Verso and Lune and I have been doing endgame stuff with Scielle in that spot
The DLC is a bit strange in comparison to the rest of the game. You enter versos drafts off the usual map but then you are at a sort of hub area that has 5 paths into places I’d consider each one what would normally be a level you would enter from the map. They were generous to do this for free

I haven't played the new content yet, but I saw a video in my YouTube feed of a Simon variant. I didn't watch it though.

I played it early this year and it may be my game of the decade if not longer. My wife is now playing through on Story mode and I'm itching to start a NG+ after watching her.

Still avoiding the spoiler thread (though not much longer…) but can someone tell me if I can fight A. From The R. again? Maybe in the tower?
I decided I wanted to git gud this fight and exclusively pass my turn and do damage with parries. I got every one of their attacks down except for FF. Because they only did it in the last sequence, I didn’t get enough shots to practice it, and in the time I killed them, they only did it once (which I didn’t get perfect). Now they are gone and I feel empty, like I was cheated out of my chance to learn every attack
