Looks like Castle Clash is following the Clash of Clans blue print where changes greatly benefit those in the top 1% and screw the other 99%.

I'd say the vast majority of people have less than 17k might and aren't going to get the HB bump the top 1,000 will and so the top 1,000 will get exponentially more HB than the rest of us and the gap will widen.

yup

they had to find a way to combat the people that sat back with low might and just leveled their hero's

don't they realize it was fun the way it was? trying to screw up a good thing

well they said my options were:

a. try a stronger WiFI
b. close unused applications

I told them castle clash was the only one I had problems with and they said upon inspection, their servers are running fine. to which I said LOL. then told them thanks or the help and I guess this means more time playing clash of clans

You mean they didnt tell you to mute the game?!

From email in response to my complaint-

quote:

A. Please check the connection of the wireless network, and make sure that there is good network connection. Try using a different connection (WiFi3G4G)

B. Please reset the wireless router and your handheld device for at least 10 seconds.

C. Make sure you are not running any other application other than Castle Clash.

D. Clean up your phones/SD card cache and free up some space. You may use Cache cleaning apps to do this.

E. Turn off the in-game sounds and music in the settings.

just closed all unused apps and played two dungeons without a problem. was prepared to eat my words and sing castle clash praises, but it just kicked me again in the middle of a dungeon

I wonder how my WiFi and device know precisely when to disconnect.

Well, if you aren't doing anything in the game, it's not talking with the servers much. So the connection could drop and reconnect and the game wouldn't really notice or care.

When you are in a battle or doing anything really, the game is in constant communication with the server and it will notice a lost connection and lose sync pretty quickly.

That might explain how your wifi "knows" to disconnect at the worst times.

Since you can't affect the battle once it's started (no spells or anything), they should be able to complete the simulation on the server and award your XP and stuff. Kind of dumb that they don't do that.

In the last 24 hours, I have lost 620k gold and 216k mana to raids.

I get 100% raided 2 to 4 times a day. I spend down resources if I can to avoid large losses.

Since I'm retarded, my might is much higher than it should be and puts me in the cross hairs of really strong players.

If only I had about 300k hb to fix my hero problem....

I'm still getting raided everyday even with lvl 120s.

The set up I have is enough for me to not lose too much gold/mana, but assholes never 50% me. they always leave right beforehand (I hate those.)

I don't have problems if I'm sitting at home or at work. I will get kicked out of battles if I'm moving and the phone either drops a few packets or switches from 4G to WiFi or vice versa. If you're on the road, or getting near the edge of your wifi signal, disable wifi on your phone before entering battle. I really don't have problems if I'm in good range on a reliable connection.

I don't even understand why people would do this

You lose HB if you don't 50% a base and HB is worth way fricking more than gold.

my problem happens while I'm sitting at home with my docsis 2.0 router pumping out upload speeds of 2.60 Mbps and download speeds of 11.41 Mbps not 10 feet from where I'm sitting.

but I think I found the problem. it is the restriction that apple puts on other apps that use the internet to make them slower than safari. it is a port from android after all.

well my iphone and ipad are jailbroke so I've installed two cydia apps that I think have fixed the issue. Nitrous and 3G unrestrictor. 3G unrestrictor may not help much if at all because it only enables WiFi-Only features on 3G and LTE. But the Nitrous app is what I really think has improved my game play, since it disabled the restrictions put in place by apple.

With these apps my dropped games have decreased and it's playing smoother. I'll continue to test it, but hopefully this fixed my issues
