Can anyone recommend a fighting PS4 game?

Acquired PS4 and have no idea what to get. Looking for an idea for a 2 player fighting game. Ideas?

Gotcha. Any other recs? I haven’t played games since PS2.
Most of what came with the device are story based stuff and not 2 player.
Is UFC any good?

Honestly I can’t even think of fighting game on PS4 that isn’t mortal combat. I’d recommend buying a switch and getting super smash

You have games like Tekken 7, Street Fighter V Arcade, Mortal Kombat 11, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Guilty Gear Strive or Xrd, Soul Calibur VI, Injustice 2, BlazBlue, Samurai Showdown, UFC 4.
If supersmash is all you are going to play sure.
The switch has MK11 and Supersmash, thats it.
Oh and Arms
The ps4 options blow the switch out of the water. Its not even debatable.

are you playing online or with someone in your house?
If you are looking for co op, borderlands is great.
I figured you were specifically looking for a fighting game.
You have the sports games, tony hawk pro skater, rocket league, it takes two, those type games you can play with two people on one system.
I havent played divinty original sin but its a coop game

This is probably the worst take I've seen on this board for at least a year.
The top fighting at the moment is probably Guilty Gear Strive. It really depends on how technical you like your fighting games or how much anime you like in your fighters. All of the staple series have mainline entries on PS4 (Tekken 7, Soul Calibur 6, Street Fighter V, Guilty Gear Strive, BlazBlue Central Fiction, Mortal Kombat 11, etc).

The roster already might be the best ever in a boxing game and they plan to keep adding boxers over time (like the ufc games). Everything else looks pretty damn great too. We’ll see but hard not to get excited about this if you’re a boxing game fan.

Injustice 2 is a lot of fun, and the storyline is interesting if you are into DC comics at all.
