Too much crap in the menus in every game after COD 4 for me (correct me if I'm wrong). I like the one attachment, 3 perks, and default kill streaks.

That's just me though. Plus it has that nostalgia factor as me and my friends all played that game together more than anything else. Good times.

Who didn't expect it to completely flop besides them? It was clear people were tired of them pumping dumb futuristic shite out.

If they updated this with today's graphics engine I could die a happy man.

Even though it was a different game, I loved Medal of Honor: Frontline. Loved that WW2 timeframe

No shite Sherlocks...anyone with half a brain saw this coming. No one wants to play a call of duty/halo hybrid.

Whoever decided to go with that idea should have already been canned.

This. Too much bullshite to pick and arrange. Go back to how it was in MW and MW2

Black ops 2 was future and people loved it. It's the boost jumps not the year.

But the past cods are way better

I may be in the minority but infinite warfare kinda felt more like of old than most. The guns like the "m4" style one felt like the ACR and the maps had some elements of the old. They even brought in some legacy weapons like the intervention sniper that I loved.

Not sure why the halo comparisons piss me off so much, but dammit they do

Because Halo:CE basically started first person shooting games and nothing since then has been able to get close to the unique feel Halo has, especially weak games like this last COD. They don't really belong in the same conversation but I see where the comparisons come from with space and whatnot.

It's just a lazy comparison. Outside of a space setting, completely different games.

Yeah I agree it really is just the space comparison. the gameplay is nothing alike except for the fact that they both have guns

Yup. That was a classic mission storming the beaches. I think that was the game that also had the eastern front where you played as a Russian and they handed out weapons to every other soldier.

MW2 for me

+1

I've said for the past couple years that if they got a little closer to those games, then I would buy again. Didn't purchase the game for that past two releases, but I could be tempted into another purchase if the game was less space bullshite. I basically just run to run, hide, point, and shoot. Add a little more stealth and I'm all in.
