PC performance is pretty disappointing. Max settings has me at 40 FPS or so

I think there will be some major patches that improve things. But the game is perfectly playable as is.
I’m not seeing any bugs. I do have issues with exiting combat or getting stuck on terrain in combat or combat in confined places. You will have some deaths from that. But this is the game I have probably save scrummed the most so dying isn’t a huge deal.

To an extent, but most are getting between 50-70 hours for a playthrough. You can also just let the family die and then it becomes a revenge story and you no longer have to deal with the time issue. Im just going to do a save before I save the family the first time. Then Ill go back and do all the quests and let the family die. That way I can do everything.

The combat is pretty annoying. I keep getting stuck on things and you cant run away. If they fix that it would be a pretty solid game.

i did have that happen once. Since my last post i have run into 2 other bugs, neither game breaking. But yes, game could use some final polish. Still enjoyable though.

Wait on doing the mage tower mission at the bottom of the map til as late in the game as possible. Technically afterwards it will give you the “you are near the point of no return” message anyway.
Basically, no spoilers but a large part of the mission is done without any equipment and as a human. I think you find two health potions for the entire loop. And you have some tough fights. So if your not leveled up, and getting no buffs from equipment, the fights can take some time. And it’s just a weird quest. Not a fan. Technically I think the annoying part of the quest is voluntary and it does have important story stuff but I’d google before going to confront the mage. Home Sweet Home is the quest line.
Anyway, I have 13 days left. I feel good on time. I only see one major outstanding quest line I feel like plus I still need to do stuff to take out Mongol lieutenant

There is plenty, plenty of time to do most things. You will be fine. Unless you are purposefully trying to waste time

Not really, but the entire metagame is built around how to most efficiently optimize each day/night in order for the MC to be as strong as possible when time to fight the final boss.
I felt like I saw the seams of the game fairly quickly which is one of the reasons I bounced off of it as quickly as I did.

That’s not really true. You absolutely don’t need to optimize. You can go frolicking in the swamps for a few days doing nothing and your good

Just finished this and now I need to know when Dawnwalker 2 news starts circulating. This is a banger.
I finished with 6 days left and never felt rushed for time. Was running out of stuff to do by that point. Didn’t finish that reforge sword quest and still had some leftover boyar missions but I didn’t think it would be worth doing that late in the game.
I did find out that there’s another silver trader located in Tatari. Just a normal merchant near the shrine. I accidentally killed the one in Svartrau, talked to him at night while low on health. Last time I saw him in the world

I am about 5 days left and I think I have some fair amount of stuff left to do. I am starting to feel constraint. I did reforge sword and armor last night.

I still had a bunch of side stuff left like caves, ruins, shrines, etc but I just left most of that alone after a while. Felt like the gear I was getting wasn’t better. You definitely will have to make a choice on what you want to leave behind but it seems like you have plenty of time for the main stuff.
The final quest (did the solo fight one) started with some orange skull mobs then there were some without. Honestly after maxing out the perfect block/riposte trees and the one where you heal after perfect block, I felt pretty invincible. And I had five vamp segments with a ton of heals and buffs. Was pretty op.

Loving the game but one glitch is awful. The L1 + R1 “special attack” has completely disappeared. Anyone know how to fix this? Makes fighting way more miserable

That skill comes from your gear so you might have to change your bracers or sword.
