Are there any good, prebuilt gaming PCs for around 1k? Mostly will Be playing COD Warzone. TIA
ETA: Have a little flexibility in the budget

Someone here will help you build a much better PC for 1k than any pre-builds.

Problem is I know absolutely nothing about PCs. I don’t think I could order parts and build my own.

here's what i built last summer (prices include tax from amazon and newegg):
Ryzen 5 3600X
LINK
Sabrent 1TB SSD
LINK
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) RAM
LINK
EVGA 650 B3, 80+ Bronze 650W PSU
LINK
Phanteks Eclipse Case
LINK
MSI B450 Tomahawk MOBO
LINK
Sapphire 5700xt (reference card) - Find another one/same model
LINK
that should hit around your $1000. you'll still need monitors, keyboard and a mouse.

If you dont know much about PC and will mostly be playing COD then just curious... why not just roll with a console... the specs for the next gen are pretty strong

Family computer is getting close to needing to be replaced so thought I’d just get one I could play games on

Look into sky tech on Newegg

It's honestly not that hard to build a computer. I'm not exactly a tech guy, but I used a order list from PC Builder and some youtube videos, and it's been fine. It can play most games at higher settings.

My wife suggested trying this. I may look in to some videos to see if I think I can do it. I’m not tech savvy so I’m still a little hesitant

Build your own PC. It's fun and easy if you watch YouTube videos. Plus a lot cheaper than prebuilts.

I am not tech savvy or mechanically inclined. It is easy to build. Only problem I had was in could not get a USB to work. It is worth the experience. If you get in a bond it isnt hard to fix.

The big problem with getting a pre-built is they cut cost on some pretty vital spots. Hard drives go out constantly on those things.
Buddy of mine just built basically an exact copy of my build. He’s about a big of a redneck as you can get but between the build list I gave him and YouTube tutorials, he got it up in running in a matter of days.

If you’re in the Baton Rouge area I’d be happy to build it for you for a small fee. Your level of quality is much higher in a custom built than a pre-built.

Building them really isn't too difficult. I would say my knowledge of how computers actually work was about as limited as anyone, and I built one last year.

I went with PugetSystems.
Super happy, rock solid system, but you'll pay more than $1k. Was worth it to me to not have to build it on my own.
I know everyone says it's easy, and I used to build and run my own Linux stuff. I just felt like the general hassle of it isn't worth it if you can find a company you can trust.
Mine runs games and is a media server. Does both super well.

I’m in the Lake Charles area. I’d be happy to pay a small fee to have one built

I can make that work. Maybe meet in Lafayette when it’s done? Hit me up at the email in my previous comment to discuss the details.
