Hopefully that hotfix resolves some of the most annoying aiming/hit marker issues. Feels like most of the time I'm shooting marshmallows and not 5.56 FMJ.

Yea, its a stick drift issue with controllers, also why your marker will randomly be halfway across the country when trying to spawn in. Using the Dpad helps when selecting stuff. Still very annoying though.

I think this is part of the reason I have never been able to get into Battlefield and always gone back to COD. I'm a self admittedly casual gamer and don't have the time to really get into the game or sit through 1+ hour long matches. I really wish I could get into it because I feel like it's better and more realistic, but I just can't get good enough. I do like that it seems like it's putting pressure on COD though.

I get it, but with COD you have to deal with overtuned SBMM, connection issues (hit reg), and the threat of cheaters in every match. pick your poison.

Oh trust me, I understand why people play BF over COD. That's why I'm glad BF6 is putting pressure on COD to make changes, such as the SBMM change. Just personally for me, I can't keep up with BF.

We’re in the same boat. With kids, a job, and normal adult activities I only have time for 2-3 long BF sessions a week. And I would likely come back to COD if they fixed, addressed, or even admitted to the issues I mentioned above.

I jumped on for a quick match last night around 11pm and actually hit a queue. It was only a few thousand but surprised me.
It will be interesting how they manage the success and if they can sustain the momentum.

I’m having a blast with this but there’s some annoying things in this game.
I could go on quite the rant here but I’ll just go with the latest thing I’ve noticed that makes me wonder about some of the overall design choices.
Jets. How is there not a single unlockable and to top it off air to air missiles are not standard. You only have your rotary cannon and air to ground missiles. No options to change there is pretty strange.
Also Manhattan Bridge needs an adjustment to the boundaries. Almost pointless to fly the heli with how small the flying area is.
And don’t get me started on new Sobek city and the unfinished stair wells

I need the ability to disable crossplay on pc. Apparently its only a console feature.
Im never gonna be back to 3.0 850 score per minute days because im playing uktrawide 4k 36 inch monitor and my eyes are 15 years older. Not on a 19 inch 1080 240mhz. Gotta take every advantage i can get.
Trying to find the best way to do the shotgun challleglnge of getting 4k damage in a single match. I thought it was domination due to more close quarters, but the matches are too short and the best ive done is 2400.

Just bought this game and am immediately regretting this. I’m too much of a casual gamer to play this. I last maybe 10 seconds and get killed immediately. I can’t even see the enemy most times before I die. Anyway to get refunds on Xbox? I suck

You have to slow the game down for yourself. Quit sprinting around corners. Basically, walk, don’t run. Give yourself time to react.

I have 30 years and 1000's of hours into FPS...it's not just you. The gunplay in this game is not good or fun right now. They shipped this game with the base LMG being a better ranged weapon than the base sniper rifle. The effective range of all the weapons is insanely overdone. What's the point of having classes if you can use SMG, AR, LMG, and Shotgun interchangeably?
Best features by far are using tanks and blowing up buildings with an RPG.
