on a page back or so. we were talking about Battefield 6’s recoil, accuracy, etc.
I found a better explanation, in layman's terms, here's the difference between precision and control in Battlefield 6:
Precision = How accurate the gun
is when you aim and shoot
Think: "Does the bullet go exactly where I aim?" A gun with high precision will hit closer to your crosshair, especially when single-tapping or firing short bursts. It's about bullet spread and aim accuracy.
Example: A sniper rifle or DMR typically has high precision — one shot goes exactly where you're aiming.
Control = How easy it is to keep
the gun steady when firing
Think: "Can I manage the recoil?" A gun with high control is easier to keep on target during full-auto fire. It's about recoil and how much the gun moves when shooting. aka the recoil pattern.
Example: An SMG with good control will stay on target when you hold the trigger, letting you spray without your aim flying all over.
Long-range? You want more precision.
Close quarters and spray-heavy fights? You want more control

I played 3 games yesterday and got 0 wins. Playing with a squad makes a world of difference.

Good info, and for the sake of some of the other stats. I believe mobility directly impacts your reload speed.
Also, for those running the assault class, if you have the shotgun equipped as one of your gadgets, it and your main gun split your ammo. So, if you want more ammo for your primary, take the shotgun off.

free tips!
another one for the newbs: when you exit a vehicle, depending on your camera angle, is the side of the vehicle you exit.
want to hop out of the back?
face your camera to the back first!

another tip! if when you respawn or go back to pick your spawn location map and it does the weird stick drift glitch on console. you’re not alone.
press R3 (right stick down) it’ll recenter your map.

Oh that's a good one, it does that on PC too if you are playing with controller. Been a pain in the arse to deal with.

I've owned most of the BF games going way back and playing a large map by yourself with a bad team and no squad help is my personal version of hell. Run for 5 minutes...sniped, rinse and repeat until you rage quit.

Bf3 maps were the worst to get stuck on a team full of recon in the back of the map.

Wait…you mean you didn’t enjoy getting spawn trapped in Metro?
Really wish they would bring back all the BC2 maps. Such an amazing variety.
