I think its because its getting away from what it used to be.
Larger maps and conquest used to be cool and all when maps were linear and you actually had a back and forth battle, but the more open maps and open objectives just leads to large KD whore clusterfricks that try to appeal more to the COD types.
Same exact thing with adding killstreaks and that goddamn ridiculous ammo system now in place.
Thats my gripe anyway.

Broken record, but they need to get back to modern combat. BF1 was a nice one off, but they should done either that or BFV. Not both.

You start off with two or three mags. You have to resupply from dead bodies, squad mates, or ammo supply points.
I understand what its trying to do, get rid of the "camper" mentality and perception of BF. But when you actually try to implement it, it blows dicks. You can run and gun all over and still not have a chance to go to the body you just killed. You can be the sole survivor of your squad, on the obj, next to an ammo dump, but if dont go to the dump and hit the action key to take your ammo, you are just stuck.

Maybe cuz I played a lot of BF4, but I’m looking forward to a battlefield WW2 game. More than I would one set in modern time.
I also didn’t play much BF1 fwiw.

Yeah. I'm fine with them doing WWII. I just wish we didn't get back-to-back period games.

I'm with you here. I'm really excited about this game, but a modern shooter between BF1 and this would have been awesome. Just alternate.

BF1 was such a miss for me. I have a total of 10 hours in it and haven’t played since the second month after it launched.

Just got the email saying the second alpha test is now closed. Sucks it was only open for two days, not sure how much more I was going to get to play it though.
After playing the alpha, there is no chance I preorder just to get in the beta. I'll wait and see if they do another test or I'll see who on my friends list commits to it.

Yep, pretty interested. Unless the recoil is OOC, seems like the obvious choice for your primary AR. Maybe the spawn rate will be like the SLR.

It's got the same time to kill as the M4, so it'll be interesting to see how the recoil is. If it's any worse than the M4, I cant see myself switching to it
