Got it recently and I’m really struggling. Longest I’ve lasted is like 12 hours.

Is it actually called Project Zomboids?

That's the only thing that comes up on youtube. Was gonna watch a gameplay video.

Yes, zomboid. Must’ve been an autocorrect.

Just looked up screenshots briefly. Reminds me of an old flash game I loved but haven’t been able to find since the flash purge. And I can’t remember the exact name of it. It was part of a series but it went from fighting off hoards of zombies with your main character and whatever guns/survivors you find in between waves to a story driven single player game. You had to pick a background for your character to start. And it was a side scroller. Pretty good story behind it for a flash game. If anyone can help me find it or the name for it I’ll be grateful.

Not to hijack the thread. I’ll probably look more into this game when I get home.

Man, I haven't even though about that game in years. I remember it being pretty fun, but yeah, very difficult. It's kind of like Dwarf Fortress for zombies, in that horrible death is the inevitable eventual outcome of any game.

A couple of co-workers turned me onto this. The name sounded like something from Club Penguin but all the depth they talked about got me intrigued. so I'm trying it out.

This game is wild with all the positive and negative aspects your character can have, the depth of world interaction (from being able to sit in different car seats, to a pillow giving you better sleep, to smokers feeling better after a cancer stick, etc.) I just picked it up Sunday evening, created my own sandbox and have made it about five hours before I got mobbed by trying to be too smart for my own good.

I’ve been watching Robbaz play it for years. It’s crazy how good he is at it.

Tried it a few runs myself and never can seem to get everything together before the helicopter starts flying around and brings hordes to me

I tried it but never got too far into it. It fascinates me though, I’ve watched it on YouTube way more than played it.

Looks cool and I own a copy, but I really haven't delved into it.
