Got into it a little yesterday and plan on staying up way to late tonight playing.

I loved 1 like others said. I got it on release and played it quite a bit. But after going through the main deal there just wasn't anything to do. Apparently there's a shite ton to do off the bat in 2 so I'm tempted.

The enemies constantly flanking is fricking frustrating. I cannot stay in cover when I’m getting shot from every direction. That’s my only complaint.

The improved AI from Div 1 made the enemies more aggressive, but they aren't bullet sponges like the last game.
Skills help this problem, also just always prioritize enemies inching over to your sides. The long cooldowns on skills early on suck though, so positioning is key
Assault turret is really good for watching your side for you when solo. The long cooldowns on skills early on suck though. Tactical retreat works wonders too. Standing your ground in this game is deadly.
Chem launcher healer is the best healing option IMO, 3 charges on a 20 second cooldown. Double tap the skill button and it drops one charge at your feet. You can drop all 3 charges for a quick heal.
The firefly skill that attacks enemy weak points and / or environmental hazards is pretty slick. If you get the drop on a group of enemies, you can make the grenade chucker blow up and take a few buddies with him. Also great for bosses since itll put a few hits on their weak point so you only have to hit it 1-2 times for it to trigger.
Chem launcher oxidizer is my favorite skill so far. melts armor bars and does AOE damage over time. Makes just about any boss / heavy armor enemy trivial, even solo. I just don't use it solo much because I need the heal version and I get a lot more mileage out of the turret when solo. In a team, I run chem oxidizer and the destructor firefly with either a semi auto rifle or LMG depending on what is best at my current level. In the rear with the gear, targeting the more dangerous enemies and laying down fire at flankers, making sure the tryhards that rush into every fight head up actually survive because they are facing weakened enemies.
Made it to lvl 12 last night. Loving every second of this sequel.

It’s not bad it just sucks arse and I was frustrated yesterday when I got to a point where I had guys rushing me, an explosive RC car run up on me, and guys come all the way behind me and shoot at me. It was difficult to find cover to shied yourself from everything.
Yet I couldn’t stop playing it.
I picked the assault drone and the other drone as my perks so that probably didn’t help.

The enemies can seriously frick you up, it's crazy. I had one group chuck like 8 grenades at me, a couple RC cars, plus big dudes with their LMGs. It's intense. 
Plus I love how you can solo the game if you want, or if you get stuck you can call other agents to help you. Or you can help other agents out, then peace out when you're done.

This is seriously the best looter shooter on the market. So far there are no glaring weaknesses. The only real complaint I have seen is that people say the world tiers with gated gear is too easy to run through after you get to level 30, so there's no reason to worry about gear until you hit WT4 while we wait for tier 5, which should be out next week I think. I have put like 12 hours in so far and I'm just level 12, taking my time, but some people want to rush to end game.

the crusader shield skill is great for solo as well. Leaves your knees down exposed and some of your head exposed, but you can still use an assault rifle, smg or shotgun.

IGN is scoring it as an 8/10 right before doing end game. High praise for the map overall and combat. No spongy issues.
