Just curious..Do you ever see islanders on mystery islands again? I think I have my 10 planned out with amiibo cards but I just wondered if they start appearing again. So far I have

Big Top (who I have been trying to get rid of for weeks)
Audie
Fauna
Dom and Plucky were my original ialanders.
Curlos
Julian
Ankha

Considering getting
Marshal
Marina
Lily
Caroline
Sherb

Does anyone have experience with these 5? Not sure which ones to get. Obviously some of the first group will have to go if I get all of these.

That looks great. I'd been on the fence about doing a rock garden but after seeing yours I started the process of trashing my island.

You have to have one move out and a plot open up for villagers to appear on mystery islands.

One visitor will want to leave per week. I just got Norma to ask this morning. Tomorrow she'll have her house packed up and Tuesday I'll be able to hunt for a replacement.

My turnips are 92. If anyone wants to try to traverse this mannequin jungle you are welcome to. Books also has one of the arcade machines, washing machine and a studio wall light.

Missed a spot today on the rocks. So far 1 out of 4 have spawned in the new garden. I'll get this done or I will destroy my entire island in the process. Haha

I'm at 91, I'll open as well for 30 minutes if anyone wants to swing by.

I gotta leave at 1030 so hopefully that's enough time for y'all. Shes just right on my Nooks Cranny. I tried to move her closer but she's stubborn.

Definitely a 5 star island! My friend was impressed as well. It’s the first island he saw that wasn’t his or mine. Love the green mums. Still trying to get some

Thanks! Actually those green mum's grew on accident. I've been so obsessed with breeding the roses and trying to get the blue one that I haven't tended to my other flower beds at all.

Also, if you really wanna blow his mind, take him to AHM21s island next time he opens it up.

I need to see AHMs. I have two blue roses so I would consider trading one for something

Ya I'd be interested, would take alot of stress off of my fake gardening just lemme know what you'd want and we can work it out. There's probably a few of us who would barter for it lol.

Got my 5 star rating overnight. But it was due to all the new mannequin placements

I sadly and foolishly underestimated ability of rock to respawn next to road/pavement. So I failed today. I think I fixed that problem this morning and will keep fingers crossed for appropriate rock spawning tomorrow.

Also to touch on previous topic... on my search for shaking trees for furniture, I had 5 (FIVE!) wasp nests fall out. I got lit up on 3 while not expecting more. So there goes my theory of 1 wasp nest per day. Not sure if those 5 are based on percentage of trees that I have or if they accumulate over several days.

Been there. I had 2 spawn 2 spaces apart along a brick path. I think I'm good now though.

I also bought 10 extra turnips to let them rot so I can get that damn ant

So yea, like I said, always have a net in hand before shaking. Make sure those three squares in front of the tree are clear of anything like sticks, weeds, flowers, etc. Shake the tree from any of those three squares, and wasp nests will fall either to your left or right (it doesn't matter where it falls as you'll always automatically turn to face the nest). Start swinging as soon as you see the wasp nest come out, and you will catch the wasp 100% of the time.

Haha yeah I’m usually good about it. But I dug a fossil up along the way and didn’t use my net cause I thought I had encountered the only nest. And that same thing happened again later hahaha. The 3rd sting was me accidentally reshaking the tree instead of swiping the net.

Wasps are a bit unnerving, but at least you know it’s coming before they attack. It’s nothing like getting sniped by a scorpion you didn’t see or expect. My heart still skips a beat each time

I've learned to take one step towards the wasps before swinging the net to avoid the occasional accidental tree shake, it's the exact opposite of your instincts but if you're doing it five times a day every day you eventually make it a habit!

Anyone know if we can catch sharks after midnight?

Or do we have to wait until tomorrow (after 5am)?

It should be after midnight once it turns to 6/1.

If you're on a mystery island, you might have to head home to trigger it.
