I can make orange, pink, purple, black and even gold roses. I can't get a damn blue one yet. I'm pretty certain that I have 3 "hybrid" reds ones that I've been trying to get to spawn a blue. I also started a new breeding ground following this guy's YouTube video that is supposed to be full proof. Once I conquer the blue rose, I'll start on the purple hyacinths, mums, windflowers and pansies. Then the damn green mums from there. Also kind of working on black cosmos and purple tulips at the moment. These flowers are taking over my life

I have been using NMTs like crazy lately have yet to hit a hybrid flower island. I've probably used close to 50 over the past week. I have roses as my main and windflowers as my sister flower so I can make my breeding so much easier if I can just get those orange roses from a mystery island tour.

We have two. No clue how we got them; I'm not in charge of the flowers on our island.

That's crazy to hear everyone not getting alot of orange ones, they literally won't stop popping up. I have some lining a cliff and they even spawn on the ground below next to them.
Again, I have plenty if anyone wants some.
Edit* I think the problem I have with the hybrid reds to get the blue roses is I didn't use the seeds to grow red and white, just the ones on my island. So I gotta start over with that.

I didn't go quite as large as him and I'm not going to time travel, but my new set up is awfully close to his and today they should all be buds. I have 2 friends that I usually get to come water. I am just going to sell everything that spawns that isn't what I need to breed with.

That's fine. I'll close it long enough later tonight after everyone is home. It's a pain in the arse trying to get on an island when someone is trading so I'll close it off so everyone on here can get on and off.

Not sure if this helps or not, but if you've been keeping red or yellow spawns, then those could adversely impact your chances of getting orange roses. It's much easier to get oranges if you use nothing but roses that grew from seeds.
Anyone that tried using those 5x5 grid pictures seriously screwed up their chances of getting flower breeding to work.
