She ended up giving me some Starry Garland. I think I already had the cancer table, so I guess she won't give you duplicates like the villagers.

I am assuming he is here because the bug contest is tomorrow. Ole boy will be setting up shop in the town squares for it, so perhaps only enough room for 1 big show in town on Saturday.

Nice , which method did you use to breed your hybrid reds? They are taking me forever to populate. I’ve been using yellow and pink method (from the step 3 process).
I’m also going to start a different bed with random oranges and purples and see if they produce any. If they do, I’ll keep them separate from my other reds.

The bugoff is frustrating. While the timer is going, no bugs. Timer ends - bugs all over the place.

I played for about an hour straight at 9 AM. I ranged between 5 to 12 bugs per each game. I quit once the prizes started to repeat themselves. I was holding out hope for some kind of a trophy that never came.
Edit: my island is overrun with flowers so butterflies are plentiful around every turn

The fishing competition had a hidden counter I believe which just totaled up all the points you earned. CJ would mail something to you based on your final hidden tally. 300 points was needed for the top prize, which translated to 5-6 hours of fishing competitions for most folks. It wouldn't surprise me if that's the case here too.
I got 12 bugs in one go this morning and only got 14 points out of it, so they must cap bonus points per 3 bugs at 2. Which is kinda lame. But I got some cool stuff. Toy cockroach had me laughin.
