You're probably right. My flowers are spread out. I have a flower garden in the back of my island but the bugs are limited while the timer is running.

I think you get 5 pts for catching minimum 3 bugs. Every bug after that is 1 point. There were 12 unique prizes if I counted correctly. Then they started repeating.

I'm noticing that there are less bugs once the timer starts but I also have flowers everywhere. I've been getting between 5 and 12 per round. I once had 12 with over 45 seconds left. Not one damn bug after that.

So if this is like the fishing tournament, if you have multiple people catching bugs each round, you all get the total number of points between everyone. If someone hosts, we could get a group going and knock it out in less than an hour.

My kiddo and I teamed up it was pretty fun. We also nabbed all the wasps pretty easily, one shook the tree and the other swiped the wasps as soon as they came out. She made a pretty penny on them. Also, this event made me remember Spike pays pretty good for one of those dragonflies.

I guess if we're trying to make this easy, I can open up my island. It's pretty barren, there aren't many obstacles, and no ladders/poles are needed. I'll open up my place in a few.

Before one person starts the round, everyone go find a bug and stalk him. Then when the round starts most will start with one bug right off the bat.
