And lose contextual stealth. If they remade these older ones with the mechanics of Origins or Odyssey, I'd be all about it.

Please. Black Flag is my favorite of the series but the mechanics and gameplay of Odyssey were great.
I'd actually really like to see a remake of AC3. I loved the setting but never finished it when it first came out. I went back and tried to play it when it came out on PS Plus but it's really dated.

Its called Skull and Bones and its been delayed like 3 years already. Still doesn't have a release date.

Developers....just make a god damn modern sid meiers pirates. the people want pirate game. doesn't need to be AC.
that being said....im probably playing a black flag remake as long as its not just a remaster.
