I'm sure this is probably something a few of the in the know NOLA posters are already aware of.

Future items will include ham and potato croquetas and fresh Gulf fish sticks with a meyer lemon tartar sauce. "We're still finalizing the recipes and training and trialing everything," Watts says.
All items created by Zimet and/or using Bourrée sourced products will be noted on the menu so that customers know what's new, what's improved, and what's the same (like the Two Run Farm beef burgers.)

This feels like a hedge for Zimet. Bourree must be struggling, it's always empty when I drive by. Did they say if he was going to have the wings?
That would be a good idea, but not sure at that price point.

They said that they'd hope to have a wing special there about once a month.

I can't believe people aren't going out of their way to eat small, overpriced wings in a dull setting!
Seriously though, I'm pumped for this new Ave menu. I was getting bored with the old one.

I saw recently that Bourre moved into a building next to Boucherie on Carrollton.
I'm guessing the menu is still tiny and lacking options?

Also curious about the meat market there

Sounds good but I never get food at Avenue Pub.

They've expanded to include cajun meats/sides. Still a strange niche.
