I use a Kitchen Aid mixer, I'm sure you could do it by hand if you had to.

My mom makes a variation of this. She melts the cream cheese on the stove, with a log of jimmy dean browned.

that might be too delicate....i would eat that on it's own. seems like you want a big obnoxious flavor to work with the cream cheese.

Man, if I ate half the stuff listed in this thread I wouldn't be able to get off the couch with a construction crane!

I do love adding breakfast sausage to rotel...we call that "Jose's dip." Haven't ever had the cream cheese/bkfst sausage/rotel before. Sounds killer.
