Where would you take someone that wants good seafood in New Orleans?

Not necessarily looking to spend a ton of money. Was going to try and go get some dinner Sunday night after watching the Saints game.

Peche is more expensive, but awesome. Bevi has good boiled/fried seafood at reasonable prices, but not as great atmosphere. Blue Crab has a great atmosphere on the lake and is in between those two in price.

Katie's is super popular on Sundays and most seem to really like it with more variety to the menu.

Peche is a great choice. And I've yet to go, but GW Finn's gets a bunch of love for its seafood .

eating sunday night will limit your choices. I do know peche is open

if you want fried fare, id go to Mandinas. They are open until 8.

This is really a wider request than people think. It depends on what kind of "good seafood" that you want. If you want a typical platter type, then I agree with Lester on a place like Mandina's which serves a good variety of mostly fried seafood plates and poboys.

I love Peche. It's not your typical seafood restaurant, but the quality is excellent. I don't find it expensive overall. That depends on what you order and there are plenty of small plate options.

I suggest you look at the menus and determine what you're looking for.

Agree, Peche is a good one.

Cavan is another that has some great seafood options that isn't as expensive in a very cool setting.

Casamento's when it's open is a classic experience.

Easy answer. G. W. Fins. I was there two weeks ago. My favorite seafood restaurant in town.

My last couple casamento’s experiences have been underwhelming. As mentioned GW Fins and Peche are my 2 favorites
