Back in the early 80's on my to high school I would stop at Time Saver and get one of those roast beef soft bread subs. I couldn't figure out the type of spread was on the sandwich. It was like a spiced mayo with some relish mixed in.. They didn't always have them so it was a treat when they did.

Wawa makes some damn good sandwiches

Served pretty damn fast the few times I've been. Just as good as Jimmy John's, or better.

I've wanted to try the Publix sub but gutting fuel for the water toys, beer, and sammiches all at one stop is too convenient.

I don't go to these places very often locally I'd hit Jason's Deli if needed to, and I have.

Top 3, no order...

Publix
Jersey Mike's
Potbelly

This is mine

In order:

Publix
Jersey Mike's
Potbelly

The gap between 1 and 2 is much wider than 2 to 3

Publix (wish we'd get one. I went there all the time when I lived in Florida)

I've never tried Jersey Mike's but I really want to try them. Their sandwiches look really good.

I’d take a Publix sandwich before any of those.

I always enjoyed Blimpie, but haven’t seen one in years.

I worked near one for several years before finally trying it one day. They have a solid cheesesteak. That’s the only thing I’ve ever had there.
