Guess the lesson here is don't frick with the beer nerd army on the F&DB
I sat back and watched from page 1. I knew exactly what was going to happen. And it did. If anything I underestimated the vehemence of the beer nerds

As many times as I tried to get out of this damn thread, I kept getting pulled back in.
I'm steering clear of the next one.

Big Jake you need to reserve three of your taps for Homebrewed beers...we have several posters on hre who brew all the time and you could really differentiate yourself by showcasing their beers. plus they will cut you a sweet deal since they don't have the overhead of the BMC boys.

Was it legal for him to let Saint Arnolds pay for his repairs in exchange for putting their beer in his place?

I asked for 11 thinking people would just list 11 beers. I didn't know it was going to turn into the Spanish inquisition as to my business plan. I literally said name 11 beers, cause I wanted to see what beers got mentioned most.
This is what I would put on tap:
Parish Canebrake
Tin Roof Blonde
Tin Roof Seasonal
Saint Arnold Endeavour
NOLA Brown
NOLA Irish Channel Stout
NOLA Seasonal/Rotator
Lazy Magnolia Southern Pecan
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
New Belgium Fat Tire (coming soon)
Stone IPA

You could sell souvenir pint glasses that might or might not have homebrew in them.

You ave 11 taps to fill
If starting a blank slate
1. Abita Select Rotating
2. Parish Canebrake
3. national rotating (sierra nevada, stone, new belgium, etc)
4. national seasonal (x-mas beer, fall beers, summer)
5. NOLA Irish Channel Stout
6. Chafunkta Voo-Ka-Ray(coming soon)
7. LA beer rotating (Andygator, Purple Haze, Boucannee, Envie, etc)
8. Nola Seasonal
9. Southern rotating (SA beers, Lazy Mag, other new southern beers to market)
10. Tin Roof Blonde
11. IPA rotating
Keeping it local with a couple national beers mixed in, and staying as flexible as possible to adapt to demand and seasons

I don't even think this is a good fruit beer. Really don't get how it's been so widely distributed.

Right, any really good beer bar isn't going to have a set tap list, ever. It will always be rotating and adapting.
