Yall are too on the calandro train. Must be married into the family.

Yep, you got me. Didn’t get any bottles though. Guess I should have married better. Damn shame they raised so much money for charity.

All of the Widow Janes, at cheaper prices too. Any of the store picks are easily gotten elsewhere. It's a joke to have stuff like that in a $10 a ticket "allocated" raffle.

And yes, we already know you're going to say that's not "many." Spare us.

It’s not just a raffle for “rare bottles” it’s also a charity event.

I think I won a weller full proof

And to answer the parish v Colandros question I’d say Colandros around pappiz season

I miss the in person show, maybe next year.

Which ones

Nah I'm not making it easy and doing the work for you. I'll just continue to see them on the shelves and laugh at yall for throwing out $10/chance to buy these easily had gems.

Don't get me wrong; there are certainly great bottles on this list. The problem is that it's littered with trash that nobody wants or can easily get as well. Imagine shelling out $50 and walking away with an $80 ($30+$50) Jim Beam

I love raffle SZN

I know it’s a weird concept but you do have a choice to buy raffle tickets or not. We clipped 80k for charity this year. And yea, 100% goes to it. We can post the checks if you're interested in really looking worse than you already do…

I want the collective minds of the Calandro’s shitters on TD to open a liquor store and do things their way. It should be perfect! Y’all’s ideas are always great and your bourbon collections must be amazing, buying all of our raffle stuff off the shelf at retail! Good on you! Until next year

Or I 'll just spend my money elsewhere at stores where the owners don't post condescending nonsense because someone dared criticize how they operate.

Condensing nonsense? I’m simply responding to what was said

I don’t take very lightly people saying the ticket money allegedly doesn’t all go to charity. That’s certifiably false and wrong on so many levels to even float that out there on any public forum.

Have a good one!

This is always the strangest butt hurt to me.

Calandros gives everyone an opportunity to win a rare bourbon while also raising a ton of money for charity.

The stores in Lafayette just keep the rare shite for themselves, friends, or sell it online. I wish they did stuff like this.

Just own how you're posting in this thread.

You had a shite attitude before anyone said anything about where the money goes in this thread, but ok.

shite attitude?

A response to 6 bottles of knob creek (you can’t find a on a shelf) out of 119 was what was talked about the whole first page.

I have a problem with that. You have extremely thin skin obviously. Sorry you didn’t win any of the shite bottles on the list, maybe next year

The butt hurt is beautiful, as always lunch. You must be really fun to have a drink with. Let’s do it sometime!

And the way I respond to people on here is indicative to how people talk about us and spread bullshite. So if that’s condescending, so be it.
