Is it just vanilla ice cream with crab boil seasoning?

I made some Vidalia onion ice cream before that was actually pretty damn good so I would probably try it. Not saying I think it’ll be good, but at least give it a shot

Red Circle Ice Cream serves crawfish ice cream each spring during crawfish season, combining butter and Cajun-inspired seasonings with a full crawfish placed on top of the scoop. The crawfish can be used as an optional spoon.

The shop’s owner and founder, Nickey Ngo, said the flavor is inspired by the Viet-Cajun style of crawfish popular in Houston. She boils the ice cream base with butter and crawfish boil seasonings before adding live crawfish to enhance the flavor.

Lobster Ice Cream at the Ice Cream Museum in Boston tasted like surimi (immitation crab). Not good!

Can't imagine this is any better...

I'm assuming it's just crab boil added. I'd try it, but with low expectations.

I'm not looking for ice cream flavors of any type of meat.

Salt and Straw on the west coast has a lot of flavors that sound gross but are pretty good.

They had a Thanksgiving flavored one that actually tasted pretty good. It had turkey in it, along with cranberries and pumpkin.

What the hell is “viet-Cajun” crawfish.

A fusion style of cooking that blends traditional crawfish boiling techniques with Vietnamese flavors. After boiling the crawfish, they're tossed in a buttery sauce with garlic, chili, fish sauce & lime. It's pretty good, but i prefer the traditional style.
